Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that makes you smile.

Stylish Dallas Engagement

Tim and I had a very interesting time with Emily & Jake, for their pre-engagement portraits in Dallas, Texas. They brought the cutest Great Dane puppy named Raider to join in on the fun! He was seriously the sweetest thing ever… even though I’m a little biased because I am totally obsessed with pups! We spent a few hours exploring the streets of the Dallas Arts District as well as some downtown areas for their session.

I’ll be honest, we all grew a bit weary after walking for multiple blocks. But, it was amazing to see the moments when Raider would slow down because he was getting tired, and Jake would pick him up and carry him a few blocks so that he could rest a little. Oh, and I can’t forget about us racing up a parking garage to try to catch the sunset! We definitely cherish those sweet moments with our couples during sessions like these.

I love how much chemistry they shared. You could tell that they really loved each other simply by watching their interactions. It was so natural, intimate, and infectious. Their portraits are filled with emotion and happiness, and I’m sure they will enjoy looking back and remembering these days, years to come!

Congratulations again on your engagement, Jake and Emily!
